Financial Communication Skills That Actually Work
Six-month program starting September 2025
We've spent years watching finance professionals struggle to explain complex concepts to clients. The technical knowledge is there, but the communication piece? That's where things fall apart. This program bridges that gap with practical skills you'll use from day one.
Reserve Your SpotWhat You'll Actually Learn
Forget theory-heavy courses. We focus on the conversations you'll have next week with real clients who need to understand their financial position without jargon.
Client Conversation Framework
Learn to translate balance sheets and cashflow statements into plain language. We work with real anonymised client scenarios from Australian SMEs.
Presentation Skills for Finance
Board meetings and quarterly reviews don't have to be painful. Build confidence presenting financial data with clarity and purpose.
Written Communication Essentials
Emails, reports, proposals—get your point across without drowning recipients in unnecessary detail or confusing terminology.
Difficult Conversations Management
Budget cuts, declining revenue, cashflow problems. Practice handling tough discussions with clients who are stressed and need honest guidance.
How This Program Works
Twenty-four weeks of practical learning with real scenarios, peer feedback, and personalised coaching. Classes run Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings to fit around your work schedule.
Live Case Analysis
Each fortnight we analyse a real business scenario. You'll work through the numbers, then practice explaining findings to different stakeholder types.
Small Group Sessions
Maximum twelve participants per cohort. Everyone gets meaningful airtime to practice and receive feedback from instructors and peers.
One-on-One Coaching
Four individual sessions throughout the program. Work on your specific communication challenges with a finance professional who's been there.

Jasper Lindquist
Senior Accountant, Brisbane
Finally stopped getting blank stares during client meetings. The framework for breaking down complex reports has saved me hours of back-and-forth emails.

Freya Koskinen
Finance Manager, Sydney
The difficult conversations module was worth the entire program fee. I can now handle budget discussions with department heads without dreading the meeting.

Meet Your Instructors
We're finance professionals who learned communication skills the hard way—through years of awkward client meetings and misunderstood emails. Now we help others skip that painful learning curve.

Torsten Bjørnstad
Lead Instructor
Former CFO with fifteen years explaining budgets to boards who'd rather be anywhere else. I focus on the presentation and difficult conversation modules because that's where most finance pros need the most help.
