Financial Communication Courses Starting Soon

These aren't the typical finance courses. We're running specialised programs starting September 2025 that focus on the human side of money conversations—the stuff that actually makes a difference when you're trying to explain budget constraints or pitch investment ideas.

Callum Brynner teaching financial communication

Callum Brynner

Senior Finance Facilitator

Spent fifteen years translating complex financial strategies into words that don't make people's eyes glaze over. Works mostly with mid-sized businesses.

Petra Viklund

Communication Strategist

Came from the consulting world where she learned that good numbers mean nothing if you can't explain why they matter. Now teaches others that same lesson.

How These Programs Actually Work

We've structured things differently than most training programs. The focus is on building practical skills through repeated practice—not just listening to lectures and hoping it sticks.

  • 1

    Foundation Phase

Four weeks working on the basics of clear financial communication. You'll analyse real scenarios and practice rewriting confusing messages into something people can actually use.

  • 2

    Applied Practice

Six weeks of working on your own business cases. Bring your actual reports, presentations, or email templates—we'll help you improve them with feedback from the group.

  • 3

    Extended Support

After the main program wraps in December, you get three months of access to monthly check-ins. Most people need this—habits take time to form.

Where People Ended Up After Previous Programs

Successful outcome from financial communication training

Quicker Approvals on Budget Requests

Henrik finished the autumn 2024 program and within two months noticed his department heads were responding faster to budget proposals. Turns out clearer explanations meant fewer follow-up questions and less back-and-forth.

Professional development in financial management communication

Better Stakeholder Relationships

Amara took the skills back to her non-profit and found that board meetings became more productive. Less confusion about financial constraints meant more time discussing actual strategy.

Ongoing Career Development

We checked in with last year's cohort in early 2025. About sixty percent reported they'd either moved into more senior positions or taken on expanded responsibilities that involved more stakeholder communication.

What You'll Actually Learn

The curriculum covers the practical stuff—how to present financial information so people understand it, how to frame difficult conversations about money, and how to adapt your communication style depending on who you're talking to. We skip the theory lectures and focus on real application.

  • Writing financial reports that executives actually read instead of forwarding to someone else
  • Presenting budget proposals that address concerns before they're raised
  • Explaining technical concepts to people who don't have finance backgrounds
  • Managing difficult conversations when the numbers aren't what people wanted to hear
  • Adapting your communication approach for different audiences and situations
  • Building credibility through transparent, straightforward financial communication

The group size stays small—maximum sixteen people per cohort. This isn't because we're trying to be exclusive. It's because you need time to practice and get individual feedback, which becomes impossible with larger groups.

Applications Open June 2025

We're accepting applications starting mid-June for the September cohort. If you're interested, get in touch and we'll send you the full curriculum outline and application details when they're ready. Fair warning—spots usually fill up within the first two weeks.
